🐾⚽ The fun never stops at Husky Pups! ⚽🐾
Our youngest players have been having a blast learning soccer through imagination and play! So far this season, we've chased bubbles, escaped from soccer ball-eating dinosaurs, and welcomed a very special guest... Victor-E! 🐶💚
During Victor-E's visit, the players helped him search for his favorite snacks... bones! 🦴 They scoured the field to find all the hidden treats before Victor-E could gobble them up himself.
Of course, Victor-E also wanted to show off his soccer skills and volunteered to play goalie. Let's just say mascot-ing might be more his thing! 🤣⚽ He gave it his best effort, but our Husky Pups managed to score plenty of goals past him.
The smiles, laughter, and excitement each week have been incredible to watch. We love seeing our players build confidence, learn new skills, and create fun memories with their teammates.

📣 REC SEASON UPDATE! ⚽️
Thank you to everyone who responded to our scheduling survey! The overwhelming response made the decision easy for the HNFC Board.
🗓️ First Fall Rec Games Start: Saturday, August 29
🗓️ Final Game Day Weekend: Saturday, October 10
Updated schedules will be posted and added to the Stack Team App by end of day Monday, August 24.
We cannot thank our coaches and families enough for your patience, flexibility, feedback, and understanding through all the recent weather-related changes and delays. You have all been wonderful to work with, and we truly appreciate your continued support!
Now, let’s get ready to play some soccer! 🧡💙⚽️
🐾⚽ What a night for our first Husky Pups practice! ⚽🐾
Even with our fields closed, the fun went on thanks to Cicero Christian Church, who generously let us use their outdoor space. We had bubbles everywhere, lava (our red pinnies 🔥), and lots of smiles!
A huge shout-out to Ink It Up Apparel for the adorable Husky Pup shirts. Our newest Huskies looked fantastic! 💙🖤
The best part? Parents jumped right in to help with activities and encourage our little players. We'd love to add a few more Parent Volunteer Coaches. No soccer experience is needed, just a willingness to have fun and help guide the pups through the activities!
Thank you to all our families for making our very first Husky Pups session such a huge success. We can't wait for next week! 🐶⚽💙

Apparently Mother Nature signed up for HNFC this season—and she has had PERFECT attendance. 🌧️😅
The HNFC fields will remain closed through Friday, August 21, to give them some much-needed time to dry out. Please stay off the fields during the closure.
🐾 But our littlest players will not be kept on the sidelines! Tonight’s first Husky Pups session is still ON at a new HNFC-approved location. Husky Pups families, please check your email for the updated details.
We cannot wait to meet our newest little soccer stars tonight! Paws crossed for some drier weather soon! 🐾⚽🧡💙
⚠️ HNFC FIELDS CLOSED TONIGHT (8/19) ⚠️
Well, Indiana rain has won yet another round. After another field inspection this afternoon, we are still looking at more swamp than soccer field—with standing water throughout and geese apparently enjoying the fields more than our players can. 🪿🌧️
Unfortunately, all HNFC fields must remain closed tonight, and all scheduled practices and activities are canceled.
Trust us—we are just as ready to stop posting field-closure notices as you are to stop reading them! Thank you for continuing to hang in there with us. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.
